The new LYD monitor range is built on the legacy of the famous BMs, the monitors that have set the seal on decades of music production. 

The LYDs completely refresh and update this segment by taking advantage of the latest signal processing and amplification technologies. 

They retain the qualities for which Dynaudio Pro is renowned: excellent bass reproduction at low volumes, precision and extended listening without fatigue. 

Each speaker is amplified by a Class D 96kHz/24bit module, equipped with a new soft dome tweeter and a woofer with a MSP (magnesium silicate polymer) cone. 

Bass Extension, Sound Balance and Position Mode switches allow the speaker to be optimised for the listening environment.

The LYD series is manufactured in Denmark in the Dynaudio tradition. 

The LYD-5 redefines the concept of the compact close-range monitor. Thanks to its precision at low volume, it excels at close listening in small spaces, small configurations and optimised home studios.

Handcrafted drivers, state-of-the-art Class D amplification with 24 bit/96 kHz signal handling and DSP control are the ingredients that have been expertly combined to achieve outstanding performance.

The woofers are equipped with aluminium voice coils whose light weight allows for a fast and accurate transient response.

To ensure the ideal balance of moving mass, precision and flexibility, the woofer's cone and dome are moulded from a single piece of magnesium silicate polymer, for unrivalled reproduction.
